Ella es de Berlín, él de Guadalajara. Se hicieron amigos e intercambiaron ideas musicales hasta que ella decidió mudarse a México para armar una banda y grabar un disco con él. Tiempo después, la invitaron a la audición de una de las series de televisión más importantes de Alemania, y regresó a Europa sólo para descubrir que había obtenido el papel protagónico: Anni Brehme, una chica apasionada por la música, un espíritu libre. Tanto los productores de la serie como el público alemán se cautivaron por su historia de vida, haciendo que la frontera entre ficción y realidad desapareciera.
